A number of interested 345 owners attended the MidNorth Association–sponsored talk tonight by Ward Miller, founder and president of Preservation Chicago. One very important bit of news announced during the talk was that 325 West Fullerton Parkway, the rental building due east of 345, was sold last week to Newcastle real estate developers. “Newcastle plans to renovate the building, adding features like a bike room and installing new appliances, countertops and cabinets in its apartments,” Mike Haney, founder and CEO of Newcastle said (reported in Crain’s Chicago Business: http://www.chicagobusiness.com/realestate/20170417/CRED03/170419887/family-sells-lincoln-park-apartments-after-100-years).
The next regular meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for May 17, 2017, at 7:00 PM in the Board Meeting Room, West Tower sub-basement.
