HELP PROTECT THE ICONIC APARTMENT BUILDINGS THAT LINE CHICAGO’S FRONT YARD
A formal “Suggestion” has been submitted to the Commission on Chicago Landmarks to consider a district landmarking of the 2300 block of Lincoln Park West and the 300 block of Fullerton, with the possibility of extending the application for landmarking to all four sides of that block.
It is in 345’s best interests to support a landmarking designation of this entire block just east of us.
Landmarking protects against any possible future intrusive development.
The Commission on Chicago Landmarks and 43rd Ward Alderman Michele Smith need to hear support for the proposal from those buildings and the neighborhood.
Please sign (legibly) the petition form at the Front Desk, and please add a comment. Leave it with the Doorman, and it will be delivered to the organizers.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 10:00 AM in the Board Meeting Room, West Tower sub-basement.
