Rules & Regulations
After consultation with the Association’s lawyer, a 30-day review period by all owners, and a unit owners’ meeting to discuss the Rules, the Board of Directors voted on April 17 to adopt amended Rules & Regulations. Copies have been distributed or mailed to all owners and renters.
The Board also voted to adopt a new Policy and Procedure for Bed Bug Abatement (which now forms part of the Rules & Regulations) to prepare for the possibility of bed bugs being brought into the building. Copies have been distributed to everyone. Please remember that any suspected case of bed bugs must be reported to Management immediately, and any do-it-yourself attempts to eradicate an infestation are prohibited. Failure to comply will subject you to fines.
HVAC Condensation Drain Line Clean-out
The first full clean-out of these pipes in the building’s history is complete. To facilitate this, access points had to be installed at multiple levels in all eight tiers. From now on, our own maintenance crew will rod these lines once a year and flush them twice a year. We expect that the overflows we used to experience during the humid summer months are now at an end. Thank you for everyone’s patience during this work. Special thanks to those whose homes had to be accessed in order to do this work.
April 22nd is Earth Day
In its 43rd year, Earth Day has grown to be celebrated in 192 countries around the world.
